Jamesport, Missouri
I forgot to mention that when we left Kirksville, we stopped on the way home and picked up Alice's mare that she just had bred to a beautiful stallion named Chaleon. It was artificial insemination, and was done by a special vet clinic.
When we returned to Jamesport, David and Alice and I and Hank the dog and Lucky the sheep, all took a hike around their property. The cats started following us, but then went back home. It was a beautiful walk, and we saw all kinds of cool birds, including a hawk and a vulture, and we saw deer, also. We got home and I was covered with ticks . . . that's one bad thing about it here! Lots of ticks! Not the lyme kind, but Alice said that they have those, also.
